TERESA COLLINS CLASSES SELL OUT! Look at this wonderful group of ladies! One gal flew all the way from Colorado just to take the classes! Plus, we had one lovely lady who represented Creating Keepsakes Japan and is doing  a story about Teresa and her classes. How fun is that?! EA goes international!

EA MAKES THE NEWS! Both KUSI Channel 9 and KFMB Channel 8 came out. How fun?! We talked up Operation Replenish...a joint effort of scrapbook stores throughout Southern California. You can help! Drop off donations of gently used or new scrapbook supplies so that we can replenish those who were affected by the recent fire tragedy. If you are or know someone who was affected by the fires, please contact us. We will get you details of how you can be a recipient of loads of supplies!

HOW LUCKY AM i? Slumber party at my house with Teresa Collins! I was honored to host Teresa and Ty at the Akin home. This girl is the genuine article and I'm am so blessed to know her. She lives by the Golden Rule and treats everyone with kindness and grace. Thanks, Teresa, for rocking our world this holiday season!

May Day

Okay, so I’ve slacked off in the blogging deparment. But I’m happy to report I just learned some HTML today and created the May class calendar on our website. (I am so proud of myself!) John was finishing the last of the stained concrete, so I said to him, “Honey, just show me how and I’ll update the calendar!” I had a blast working on it and hope you check out all the great classes we have lined up for May…there are loads of special events too. We are sending an email out tonight about all the National Scrapbook Day Festivities and more. So IF YOU’RE NOT ON OUR EMAIL UPDATES LIST, we invite you to sign up at the homepage tonight!

Now, to divulge a secret. I’m a Grey’s Anatomy fanatic. I swore I wouldn’t get hooked on more than three shows during the fall season. I actually gave up ER for Grey’s and am so looking forward to a new episode tonight! I told my husband that Grey’s is like one long James Taylor-feel-good-song that makes you smile.

A huge thanks goes out to Katie and Carol for helping us go through our storage unit this afternoon! It was hilarious to come across items from five to six years ago. We have it nearly cleaned out and moved over to the built-in storage at the new store! It’ll be great not to have to make the Storage Unit Run when we need a fixture. Next on the list…clean out the garage of additional fixtures and park my car in there again! Can’t wait.
