I just skip the dinner and go right for the desserts...Christmas cookies, pies, whip cream...mmmmm...

There's always Jan 1st right around the corner for the dieting New Year's resolutions, right?

Happy Holidays!

We usually have roast beast (beef) or ham. With all the trimmings! We get enough turkey at Thanksgiving. I love the potatoes most - I am a 'tatter girl.

Jacquie

I think this year it will be roast beef & Yorkshire pudding - could also go with ham & scalloped potatoes

Ida Olas

All these meal sound so yummy..... I don't know what I'll have to eat! Ida

On my side of the family, we usually have turkey, pot roast, and/or ham with all the traditional fixings for Christmas day, but on Christmas Eve we usually have something fun like BBQ pulled pork and of course, lots of sweet treats! On my husband's side of the family, you can always count on delicious homemade tamales! Yummmm, I'm getting hungry right now thinking of all those calories!

~Shirley

My fave is all the sides, potatoes, salads, etc!!

This Christmas it will be Ham and Prime Rib!!

Nydia

I'm doing Christmas Dinner for the first time this year, so i'm going Italian!!! Thank God for pasta cause I don't think I can screw it up. Here is the upcoming menu:

Chicken Breast Fettuccini in Mushroom butter sauce

Lasagna, spagetti, tortellini in Pesto

Wish me luck :-)

We have a turkey and roast cornish hens. The stuffing is the yummiest with mushrooms.

We're having Honey Baked Ham, roast potatoes, onions, carrots and parsnips and, of course, pumpkin pie with whipped cream! Yeah, can't wait!!!

Stephanie

Oh, I forgot homemade fudge and mud cookies too!

We have so many wonderful dishes but my broccoli rice casserole is the favorite of everyone. It has replaced the green bean casserole at Turkey Day & Christmas Day! It is yummy goodness.

Sandy

Every year it is usually ham for our family, but the thing we all most look forward to eating is my moms potato casserole! Yum!

Sara

Found you through Heather's website! We do turkey and ham and have all our family there to help us eat it! Mashed potatoes, fruit salad, and of course the pie after!!

Sara

Oops! Too late! Oh well, you get to hear my x-mas food anyway!

Britney Almaguer

Not sure what the main entree with be, but at least one dinner will consist of a sweet potato side. the best!

We will be having traditional turkey, mashed potatoes, gravy, stuffing. Yummy! Lori in Lacombe

Heather Kate

ahh...always turkey and dressing, with some new recipe from Southern Living thrown in there. New this year? Cranberry crunch--a warm cranberry sauce with whole cranberries and a crunchy brown sugar pecan topping. It's more like dessert!

Linh Chin-Lai

We have a standing rib roast for Christmas meal. We also make shrimp merliton as a side. Yum Yum.

sarah

today was roasted pork loin, Thanksgiving stuffing, steamed broccoli, jello and fruit and angel food cake with mandarin oranges for dessert. mmmmmm
