A core ingredient to any layout is the perfect embellishment.  It could be something as simple as a tag or stamp or elaborate as a Prima flower with jewels.  Whatever it is right now Ever After is bursting with your perfect embellishment.  Christmas is in full stock and you will not leave empty handed when you come looking for your Christmas embellishments.  

 

Petaloo flowers are also back in stock.  We got tons of these flowers in, all sorts of colors and FUN!!!

We also have some of the RED Theresa Collins tea drops left from when she came down to teach... all the other colors are sold out but the red would be an amazing accent and embellishment to any Christmas Album or mini book.

We are just going to jump right in starting with the Christmas JOY!!!!  This line is called Mistletoe... CUTE!!!  LOVE the die cut papers

Now backing away from the Holidays and onto something that is more of a celebration all year... BIRTHDAYS.  This line is called Big Top...

   

Birthdays make me think of kids and then that can bring us to BABIES... this line is called Zac and Zoe.  Love the animals and cute scallops on these papers.

 

We are minutes from Lego Land and in the spirit of all things Lego these papers are AWESOME!!!

These papers are so versatile and useful so many different projects or home decor pieces.  I personally ADORE this collection and think its the perfect mix of vintage meets betty crocker and martha stewart.  LOVE IT. This is just a small sampling of these amazing papers. Way to go Basic Grey!!

NOW for some Holiday MAGIC...

 

You wanna know why Erin and I loved this line of CHA (this was our number one pick of Christmas) because it's C-U-T-E!!!  Well for real yes it is cute but I think this line is so great because it can mix the Cute scrapper with clean lines or the Vintage scrapper or the "dirty" scrapper that plays with Alcohol inks and Glimmer Mists.  So I think that this is just another reason why we all love Basic Grey!!

Pink Paislee in da house

We got in the new Pink Paislee!!!  TWILIGHT AND MISTLE TOE AND CO.

These were one of Erin and I's favorite of CHA summer!!!  It was just so rustic and just plain AWESOME... paper often evokes emotion and for some reason this paper does that for me.  It makes me happy and look forward to the holidays.

Money Saving Tips...

Times are tough and we are all pinching back a little from our hobbies.  But don't let the economy be the end of your craft.  You just have to move things around a little.  These are the things that I am doing to help keep my craft going which in turns makes me a better wife, friend, mom and person (it relieves stress... for me, so I am not going to let that be eliminated from our budget). 

**** Meal plan, you can shave hundreds of dollars off our budget just by meal planning (EVERY MEAL LADIES) you can't forget about lunch and breakfast, those tiny meals can blow your shopping budget.

**** Shop at Goodwill and re-purpose things for gifts, it's amazing how little time and money is takes to turn junk into treasure.  Think recipe box covered with Pattern Paper, here is one I did for $7...

**** Make your own cards for special occasions they don't have to be elaborate they can be simple and small if you want here is one that I did just today and it took less than 4 minutes...

**** Only buy things (that you use) when you have a coupon or on sale... sign up for Ever Afters newsletter they always put exclusive sales and bargains in there all the time.  

I do all of these things and I drive my hubby CRAZY but these things work and can free up some extra money for you... imagine if you had an extra $40 to spend on yourself wouldn't you feel good.

EA Thanks Theresa for an amazing 2 classes...

Thanks Theresa for leaving us all inspired and feeling the need to Document those special events in our lives.  I personally took the first class and felt so inspired as I left, I am a huge fan of Theresa and I LOVE what she has done.

We even had 2 ladies FLY out to Ever After to join us and Theresa!!!  WOW!!!  What a joy it was!!!  

Christmas is nearing!!

Shortly after Halloween I immediately start thinking of Christmas and gifts that I am going to make and the cards I hope to make and send out... the internet is FULL of holiday inspiration and if you can't find it online the magazines are full of inspiration too!!  So not to overshadow my favorite holiday (Thanksgiving) but let's start planning our projects early this year or come to EA and take a class and give it as a gift.  Here is a sampling of what we have for you this month...
